Our General Minister Brother Mauro Jöhri is the New President of the Union of the General Superiors

Fra Mauro Jöhri, Minister General of the Friars Minor Capuchin, is the new president of Union of the General Superiors (USG). Fra Mauro was elected during the 86th Assembly of the USG, held in Rome from 25 to 27 November 2015. He succeeds Father Adolfo Nicolás Pachón, superior general of the Society of Jesus. Fra Mauro Jöhri has accepted with "Franciscan availability" the 'invitation of the vast majority of the general superiors to accompany them, as President of the USG, on their journey for the next three years.

We wish him all the best in this new mission that God has given him to animate the Religious of the world!
