New website for the General Chapter

The countdown to our 2024 General Chapter, to be held in Rome from August 26 to September 15 at the International College of St. Lawrence of Brindisi has already begun. We prepare now by invoking the presence of the Holy Spirit.

The Chapter will be a gathering of about 200 friars, including Provincials, Custodes and Delegates, together with the Minister and his Council, who will meet to reflect on the Order's journey over the past 6 years, its difficulties, challenges, potentials, strengths and modifications.

In addition, it will be an opportunity to delve into issues regarding our charism to create new paths and to help us persevere in fidelity to our vocation and continue to carry out our mission in the Church and in the world, planning together the basic course of the Order's journey over the next six years.

 

But the General Chapter will not only involve the capitulars who will be present in Rome: in fact, it will be accessible to all of us, brothers and sisters around the world who form this great Capuchin family.
