Pope Francis has accepted the resignation from pastoral governance of the diocese of Viana (Angola) presented by Most Rev. Joaquim Ferreira Lopes, OFMCap.
The Pope has appointed as Bishop of Viana (Angola), Most Rev. Emílio Sumbelelo, until now Bishop of Uíje.
